fantastic photo, so rare, intimate, intense and interesting. Marvellous light management, very beautiful colours and fascinating shadows and atmosphere. Whatever the scene means, your photo immediately captivates and feels exceptional. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

the thumbnail certainly doesn't do this one justice. The light and shadow, the rich, clear color, the glance of your subject looking back. I love all the darkness around the door that makes that light and color even more extraordinary. What a magnificent photo. Many thanks and kindest wishes,

This is a stunning photograph ~ colors rich enough to be a fine oil painting. The lighting is intimate and beautifully handled. The pattern of shadows over this man (is it a monk?) add to the mystery of the scene, as does his face turned to look at you. A beautiful capture ~ well done!

Such an impressive light management here! It made me irresistibly think of paintings by Vermeer. The way he could work with light coming out of a window... You just did it!
I would have been tempted by cropping out the floor but maybe you simply did the best. Thank you for this wonderful image!

wow, I surely like it. Like it a lot... The posture of this monk is interesting. You captured this image with a nice light coming through the window. Great exposer management and fine clarity. Like the dark parts of this image. It perfectly brings out the atmosphere there. Good tonal quality and fine sharpness. A very good one. Tfs.

Artistic capture Arzu. The sillhouete and the reds remind me of renaissance paintings and the Italian chiarascoro. The posture adds to the subtle interplay of light and shadow.
