Excellent framing of the woman at work. A great doze of exotics.

HI Caleb
Another photo of a foodstall
I guess you spend all your travelling time eating on the street !!
Nice shot from above that shows everything there is to see : the plastic stool, the Chinese sausage, the chili sauce & all the other ingredients.
A typical Chinese photography in this Tibetan province

A great documentary picture Caleb - all the ingredients are here in more ways than one!....and to be fair all the instruments too - a very well chosen perspective!

Hi Caleb!
A really original composition, and the type I am afraid to attempt with any success. This one really jumps off the page towards me, with all the wonderful colors in perfect clarity. Great framing, with a real success at feeling what its like to be right there! Your gallery as always is a collection of treasures! Cheers,
Steve

Hi Caleb,
I like this shot of this smiling lady at work, and particularly the way your pov showed here cookery stand, with all it's colours and cuisine from above. Nice stuff, casper

Caleb,
Sometimes when viewing your photos I get that strange feeling that you actually travel with a crew of assistants who carry ladders, stop the flow of pedestrians, direct people to stand in certain ways, arrange the light (admittedly, I don't know how).
It's just that when I try to take pictures like these, there will always be someone disturbing the scene, people start getting embarrassed if I wait too long, the light will be harsh - whatever.
It's so frustrating! ;-)

Hi Caleb,
It's always great to browse through your pictures here. Food being one of the reasons why I travel, this is a stop-shot for me. Although there are better snacks in China, the woman's smile is a strong selling argument. Yep, I'm one of those...
Really tight crop at the top again. I noticed this in your latest posts, that seem to crop tighter and tighter there, leaving almost no space above the head(s), sometimes (like here) even cropping into the head. This gives a real up-close feel to the shot, but sometimes I wonder if it's not overdone (for example in today's post from Benares).
Cheers.
Benny

A great photo from Tibet showing everything she has for sale. She looks very organised and I hope she gets a lot of sales. Lovely friendly smile. Tfs, Marlene
