Prayer flags are commonly associated with Tibet and Tibetan culture, but there are two things you might not know about them.
1. Before Buddhism was introduced to Tibet prayer flags were actually war flags.
2.When the wind blows throw and flaps the flags the prayers printed on the flags are sent out.
