Photographer’s Note
This girl from Lari Village School was so happy to show us the first pack of color pencils she's ever got in her life. This was the Children's Day gift we give her.
brightness+7 contrast+4
It was so dark in the classroom that even I set iso to 400, and shot at quite a low shutter speed, it still turned out like this. Could you share me with your experience of how to shoot in dark without flash lighting?

i admire the child's look. Glimmering with happiness and hope..
Hopeless in tips of photography i admit but i do try using Exposure Compensation +/- 2 EV in 1/3 EV steps
This means that you can adjust the exposure measured by the light meter by telling the camera to allow more light in (positive exposure compensation) or to allow less light in (negative exposure compensation).
Anyway i did a workshop and i think this is how your image will look like with enough lights..Let me know of what you think.

Hi Xiaojian,
I love the smile on the little girl. You might want to consider getting a prime lens. It will let a lot more light in and is a good choice for indoor photos especially, if you don't want to use a flash. It's also a great portrait lens.
