Photographer’s Note

Lake Qinghai is the largest inland salt water lake in China, which covers a water surface of 96.7 square kilometers(total 4,200km2), and which is 3,195 meters above sea level, locats in the northern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
The Lake Qinghai contains little oxygen and much salts, with little plankton. It has a visibility of 8-9 meters, so it appears especially blue, just like a piece of glittery sapphire.
The people living there are mostly Tibetan.
