Photographer’s Note

Qinghai Lake lies at a critical point in Chinese territory, where the desert, the savvana and the agricultural zone merge. Qinghai Province is divided into several administrative parts basically according to their positional relationship with the Lake.
By the lake, there are lots of venders of Tibetan or local products, including ornaments, Tibetan medicine, etc.

Hello Zhang,
I've been to Qinghai before and have to say it's a lovely place! I enjoy your close study of these ornaments as well as the nice little bokeh of the background. But the lighting is poor - its flat and nasty. Nothing dynamic whatsoever. But its still a good attmept. Practice more & you'get sth striking...TFS though.

I love the focus on the necklaces with the background out of focus. It works well as otherwise the background would be too distracting.

Hi Zhang. I like this composition it is very original and has good colour. Clarity is good and much detail in the necklaces can be seen. Good work. TFS. Murray.

PS I'd like to visit this area one day if the opportunity arises.
