Photographer’s Note

During our visit to Lari Village School, we had classes with the pupils, teaching them drawing, singing and reading, etc.
This was when we were heading for their classrooms.

This is a great composition. I love seeing a faint view of the beautifull colors of the children's clothing inside the classroom. The expression on the girl's face is really good: she obviously saw something interesting and is displaying subdued anticipation/excitment

Hi Xiaojian. Sorry I haven't stopped by your gallery for a while. You've posted some nice shots lately. I like this one the best - good control of the light, excellent sharpness, and I agree with the points that Richard makes above re the composition. How are you enjoying your time out west? You must be close to coming home to Beijing soon. Cheers . . . David
