[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Clouds sneaking over the Yulong Mountain (5600 metres) in a rare sight, where the summit is almost exposed. Usually, it's covered in clouds, but we caught this nice sunset view, as we biked back from the old Naxi capital, Baisha, towards Lijiang.
Baisha is a little gem with colourful Naxi culture. While the city was held by Ghengis Khan for some years, the matrilineal Naxi people worship the Dongba religion, which is similar to Tibetan buddhism, and although they use hieroglyphic written language (supposedly as the last people in the world), their oral language is also close to Tibetan.
