I really like the pattern in the rice patties. It seems a bit like swirling water, rather than something that is set fast in the earth. I'm not sure I like the B&w as it makes the rice patties appear covered in snow, but I'm assuming that is wrong since they are rice patties. Still a very nice photo.

I like the abstract patterns formed by the water and the walls, and the person makes it perfect. For my taste, technically the image could need a little bit more contrast, especially in the upper half.
