This is one of the most magnificent and unique rice terraces in the valley of Yuanyang.
During winter to early spring, the empty rice is filed with spring water from the forest above to rejuvenate and prepared the terrace for the next season. The Hani people have repeated this for more than a thousand year

The hill of rice terraces is just fabulous and magnificent. The terraces patterns are just amazing.

Hi Tony, I like this sweeping view of the downsloping terraces with the island of trees at the horizon. I wonder why its so blurry. Great POV. Thanks for sharing...Alex
