Photographer’s Note
During the friday market at Shaxi. People were everywhere. I was trying to get some very close up images to convey this and also play around by deviating from the proper exposure to explore more creative choices.
The Sideng Friday market in Shaxi is one of Yunnan's finest. On this day, minority peoples of the Yi and Bai come down from their mountain villages dressed in their finest attire. The market serves as both a meeting place for friends and family as well as a place to trade for goods hard to come by in the mountains. The animal market is one of the most interesting features. Pigs, cows, goats, sheep, ducks, and chickens are traded openly in a large field adjacent to the main road.

One can start nagging about the washed out background but I will praise you for this extreme tight frame which your character is about to exit. In retrospect don't you think matrix would have done a better job? Most likely the man would be seriously underexposed but I bet totally salvageable in post...nonetheless, you've go my full support on this one
