Back to the chinese people serie.
This one is about queues and it was taken a few minutes after the one I posted about the two guys squating down and it is in the same queue.
On this ocasion people were actually being amazingly orderly: cutting line is both ordinary and well accepted. The western concepts that the line order is sacred and never ever to be desrespected does not exist here.
I loved China and a big reason for it, was the cultural shock. Particularly, the ways of the people are radically different from any place I’ve ever been to. For this reason I decided to post a series of photos from Chinese people. They never seemed to mind being photographed, which made it really easy. In fact, they also took photos from me and my wife.

That's a good one, Ricardo!
Theese four people in line with such expressive faces, and in background others walking in opposite direction,
it works very well

As expressoes destes 4 sao inesqueciveis.

Ricardo bonjour - great shot and very intereting note - the faces are very very expressive and the colors very soft -

It’s a funny image , Ricardo
One guy in front smiling and the 3 woman behind him look worried
It could be a nice story …
I like the different expressions on there faces
Are they related ?
Technically it could be sharper or with less noise
But the capture it self is very colorful and amusing

What a fine composition you have captured here. Outstanding caricature of queuing people, all of whom have different expressions on their faces, and each of them colourfully dressed. I have to laugh at the man with the umbrella - he reminds one of an Englishman in London. The second layer of people walking in the background further enhances the scene. This is a great capture, Ricardo. Well done.

Splendid picture. The composition is very good: the old people (with nice expressions in their faces) and just behind a younger generation in the opposite direction.
Technically is also good. I would prefer more sharpness, but now is good.
Also add that I think that in this kind of photos is more interesting the people than the places or the landscapes. Then, these photos are more interesting.

hola riardo - awesome picture: so well seen, so well sopted having all of the people being old, having blue hats, open mouth, and standing in a row in a descending order, a rare achievement; very cool image, ricardo;

A very colorful quartet. Also a good daily life shot of the colorful ethnic costumes. Could be a litlle sharper. I try to use 1/60 or 125th second minimum for a 50 mm lens. For each 50 mm increase, you need to go up a stop. eg a 100 mm zoom lens requires a minimum shutter speed of 1/125 or 1/250 sec.

Hello Ricardo, this is a great picture of daily life in China. You have captured the faces of these people very well. It's good to see a picture just showing how things are rather than a particular event or dramatic scenery. I also like the comparison between the older people in the foreground and the younger ones behind.
HOBO (5282) 2005-11-28 2:15
I like the expression on their faces. Everyone of the four seems to focus something different.
A colorful street scenery!
Have a nice start fot the week.

Hello Ricaredo, This is the best picture I found so far in TE today. I like the subtile colors, the expression of the people, and the red line formed by a flower parterre in the background.
But I would like to tell you that I thnk that you must check the exposure of your cameea which seems a little bit light everywhere. This is no coincidence, either you like them this way or perhaps you should
check the exposure meter of your camera. For instance, this picture would gladly accept half a stop darker. Hope you are not angry because I tell you this,
You may ask me further technical questions if you like..
I wish you a very good week-end - Izzet Keribar

linda foto, os ppersonagens estão bem colocados e a luz é boa. gosto das vestimentas deles , quantas coisas terríveis estes olhinhos não viram na vida, bem mais que os dos meus avós, que não viveram no paraíso, mas
