Photographer's Note
This is an interior shot of a smaller building, pretty much just a big as the photo, in an old Dai temple near Jinggu. I guess the older monks come here to read scriptures or meditate.

A very interesting and lovely photo, Walter. I love the tones of colour in the room, and the light pouring from the window. The tilt is fine in this case, but maybe you could have darkened the room just a little. Anyway, it is a very fine picture and that chair ('throne') looks a very good place to be, meditating or reading or just sipping tea.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Walter, this is an excellent shot. Great warm colours and lots of interesting detail in the furniture and window frame. I especially like the pattern created by the sunlight coming in through the window. You've given us an interesting glimpse of Chinese monastic life with this photo. Regards,
Ryno
