[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another photo from the school at the village of Di Ma Luo. The school was empty because it was the holidays. The classrooms were open and we were able to wander around freely.

Hi Chris
A beautiful documentary picture here. The lighting is great and I like the way you angled it so the sheets were spreaded out diagonally across the frame. Also good details of the homework books. The one bottom left corner reads 'rules for the primary school pupil', the middle one, inverted, says 'exercise book'. TFS.

Hi Chris,
you've a good skill to see good light and to make nice scene with inanimate objects, really.
I like the mood here but imagine if we see an arm or a hand ?
This picture will be more powerful.
I had the same problem when I start photography, I was too shy to point my camera to people.
Maybe start to try with children ? It's easier :)

Hello Chris,
Wonderful composition. You have really emphasized the bench and made it stand out against the background. You also have what looks to be some great available light in this particular spot (not sure what the rest of the classroom was like). There is great focus on the used notebook/textbook. Many elements working as one - great job.

Very nice shot again, Chris. Something of these school pics remind me of my own past... weird thing, for it was a bit different but still. I like the old brown paper and the red characters on it juxtaposed with the new textbook and chalk. A very nice, simple but evocative shot with lovely colours.
