[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken from a ferry leaving the USS Kitty Hawk.

Fresh supplies were being delivered by local boats and garbage was being taken away.

Guided tours of the aircraft carrier were arranged by the US Consulate in Hong Kong.

Hello Andrew, I once heard said "A superstructure perfect in all it's parts and honourable to it's builder" they were not talking about ships at the time but your title reminded me of those words & seem to be very suitable here.
Nice shot with excellent POV & clarity, The people and tug boats next to it gives us a good idea of the size of this monster.
Well done
Cheers
Santo

Hello Andrew. It is impressing to see this enormous monster from the proximity. Photographically outstanding realizes. A good shot for TE. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Andrew,

Indeed this is a huge boat. The image is very good in showing details of the carrier. The angle is algo very good and make wonder how far you have to be to capture the entire carrier in the lens. Nice work Andrew.

Hi Andrew, I hope that all is well. Interesting detail and good use of your "privileged" angle that accentuates the commanding presence of the vessel. Nice how the small boats add a few dashes of color opposed to the gray paint.

Bonsoir, mon ami Andrew,
Philippe
