Well I can't claim any originality for this viewpoint - anyone who has visited Hong Kong will recognise this as the view from the Tsim Sha Tsui ferry terminal in Kowloon across the harbour to Central Hong Kong.

I was in HK on a business trip, and didn't have my SLR kit with me. This was the first real test for my little Canon Powershot compact and I don't think it's too bad considering I didn't have a tripod and had to make do with resting the camera on a handrail, but I kinda wish I'd taken my 350D along. The weather wasn't great, but I think the low cloud does make for some interesting light effects in the sky.

Hi Colin
I like the shot. it shows well the skyline and has nice colours. Sharpness is fairly good, may just a little too long exposure
but it looks nice
cheers
