For the past few weeks, this very colourful tram has been catching my eye - how could it not!
Luckily today, as I was standing at a crossing near Causeway Bay, I saw it approaching.
I waited until I could frame it with the 'yellow grid' in the foreground.
When I was saving this photo, I realized that today's date contains the lucky Chinese numbers 3, 8 and 9. |

Hi Andrew.
The tram is so colourful and the grid really is YELLOW! I like it a lot. Maybe you could have waited a second or two so the fence hadn't hid the lower, rear end of the tram.
What about the lucky numbers? Haven't heard of it before.

The image is nice because of the excellent pattern creatd by the yellow lines. The bus in the background is colourful and a strong focal point in the image. I notice some oversharpened area in the image but is minor. Good colours and light. You composed the image very well. Thanks.

Hi Andrew, The bright tram against the yellow grid makes a great juxtaposition. Very good subject, hope it's still around when I next go in there in June, and we're overdue for a pint.
You caught the rainbow train it just the perfect position, Andrew. The whole thing has great abstract pattern and colour. A very happy image with good impact. Regards kevin
