When in Hong Kong, make sure you have your camera out and armed because Hong Kong is picturesque all over. Walking along Nathan road in Tsim Sha Tsui district my wife spotted this neck-lace in a jewellery shop and ordered me to 'Photo it' (short for Take a Photo of it for us).
I believe in Chinese tradition, Pig is a sign of fortune, and this neck-lace, a pig and 8 piglets made out of solid gold is a perfect embodiment of this belief.
The shopkeeper lady displayed a bit of reluctance when I sought her permission to take a photo but gave into the big smile on my face.
I hope you like it. |

Hello Kamran,
This is certainly an unusual necklace, and very pretty, too! I can't imagine actually wearing such a thing, but it looks lovely in the shop window. :-) I like the red and gold colors in this shot. Nice presentation of this pig family.
