Photographer’s Note

Wong Tai Sin Temple is one of the most famous temples as well as a popular tourist spot in Hong Kong.

During Chinese New Years, thousands people came all the way to light incense sticks at the temple.
They come to worship the Buddha, hope for a good luck blessing and prosperity for the coming year.

Nice atmosphere created with this one. Only thing would be the bright yellow jacket that stands out in the corner of the frame. You could probably even change the colour of this altogether in photoshop to conceal it a bit, I think.

More great stuff from Jongky! I love the gradation from VERY smoky at the top to dark and clear at the bottom, and all that wild superstitious activity that si marks China's aproach to religion, incense some and more smoke...Superb capture, great job! Francis

it is a photograph very surprising, mood does not seem serene, like a scuffle. there is a great intensity which had with enthusiasm. I like all the smoke of incense.

what touching atmosphere you've catched here. I like also how is the smoke enlightened by the sun rays (I guess) in the upper part of the photo. (I'll be back)

This is really a great shot. You've captured alot of energy in this scene and you can really feel what it would be like to be there. I also think that yellow on the bottom is a bit distracting. If it was a color that matched the rest of the picture more, it wouldn't stand out I don't think.
