Photographer’s Note
Sai Kung, cannot seem to get it out of my head. I felt like a kid let loose in a lolly shop. Everywhere you looked, there was a photo op. And there I was, recently had bought my first DSLR and I was on a mission.
This old fisherman hut was beautiful, humans had left and a vine had taken over, and the door...oh what a door...the door that never opened.

Hello Kamran,
This looks like the kind of place I'd go photo-crazy too. Excellent capture. I just love these old houses!

Hi Kamran, Well seen and executed shot, showing the texture of age on this building, perhaps could have stood a little more sharpening, but not a major problem. cheers, Steve

The door may not have been opened but you have opened it to the world! I loe the tones and the fabulous textures and colours Kamran. I think you are under-rated. Your work is gloriously top class

Hello Kamran,
I didn't see this picture last week, but it's really like a painting, well worth a good look. I agree with "what a door" and will gladly add: "Oh, those walls".
A very good observation.
Best wishes,
Gert

Salam Kamran. a very evocative shot beautifully executed.Sad at the same time- stresses the point that everything changes, nothing remains the same- and that decay is the end result of all things. Astonishing details and what stories lay beyond that door, never to be recorded, never to be written. I better stop but i must add that it all reminds me somehow of a wonderful story a Pakistani student wrote years ago about the gates to her house back in Sindh. Regards. Klaudio.
