Photographer’s Note
Joss sticks with Chinese well-wishes enclose a group of hikes as they rest near a temple after a day of hiking in Sai Kung, country side of Hong Kong. The photo was taken around Chinese New Year, when Chinese would visit temples to pray for wellness for the new year.
Some of the words on the joss sticks here have wishes of good business and good fortune – common things that the Chinese like to pray for.
