Photographer's Note
After arriving at our hotel, we decided to go for a walk & came upon streets full of illuminated signs. This was one of the reasons I loved Hong Kong & that it was so alive, despite the fact I nearly got killed taking this shot, I bring it to you, but only because the driver had some sympathy for me & stopped.,

Hi Wilson,
I´d rather choose SanDisk. :-)
Great capture of an advertisement-overcrowded street of HK. The street actually looks more like a tunnel.

It looks a bit dark but it is anyway a nice picture. Hong Kong is really a city with lots of neon signs which makes the street bright and colourful. I believe Kowloon really is a beautiful part of Hong Kong. Well done.
Antonio
PS: I have done a quick WS. Hope you like it.

Hi Wilson,
What a tunnel vision. The street is completely surrounded by signs and cars. Excellent exposure.
Two Kodaks work well as a main focal point. But do those other adverts catch significant attention anymore? Are their advertising value even worth the electricity they consume?

Hello Wilson,
You are surviving:) The city is spectacular and alive, these enlightened signs are rather extravagant by their number. A superb image of one at the same time artificial and alive universe. Cheer.
Have a nice day

Hi Wilson,
Being the only Far East big city that I know, it reminds me Bangkok, for its frenzied life and all those neon lights. A very vivid capture, but not so great that it was worth be killed or injured for it. :-D

Bonjour Wilson,
des prises de vue délicates, pas facile à gérer cela, d'autant que tu semblais positionné au bon milieu de la route.
La capture est parfaite.

Hell Wilson,
This is a picture to die for, as one might say, but I am happy that the sympathetic driver stopped and waited. Kowloon is beginning to resemble the Ginza in Tokyo. Great shot, but I take it back, it is not too die for!

Hi, Wilson. I didn't know taking photographs could be tat dangerous, but if you stand in the middle of such a busy road, I suppose you have to choose for a fast speed, which you did ;o). The street is very colourful with all the neon signs and there is a good perspective, too. Maybe the picture could have been a little brighter and I think the WS is not a bad version. Another possibility would be to use a tripod and go for a longer exposure and smaller aperture, but that would be suicidal in this case ;o).
Best wishes,
Philippe

Hello Wilson,

This is a good mood picture of HK streets, always so busy and crowdy. Nice take.
Have a nice evening.

Hi Wilson,
The point of view leads our eyes to the end of the street through the publicity signs. The artificial light brings out the colors of each sign. The presence of people has a scale effect. The photo is clear and precise. have a nice day.

I have always find interesting how totally different cultures can remind me of esch other. In this case this image of Hong Kong has remind me of a similar area of downtown Santo Domingo. Something about the quality of the light, the color palette and typography of the (at least of the roman alphabet characters) ads, the materials of the lights, etc. An image in the true spirit of TE.
Cheers,

Hello Wilson,
I think it was worth to take some risk for this photo, but I'm glad to hear that you're ok! :)
These metropolises have a special mood because of these bright signs. I like their reflection on the cars and the symmetry of the composition as well.
TFS!
Best wishes,

Fantstic night shot is so...lively that attracts you since the very first moment, but if you continue taking risks like this one you will end in a hospital...don't forget to take your camera with you! ;)
