A romantic, & peaceful scene at Stanley Beach, something becoming increasingly hard to find in fast paced, & hectic modern day Hong Kong City. The couple in the distance are embracing. The Stanley Market is behind the viewer.

Good framing and perspective Chris. The boats in the foregroung add a lot of interest and DOF is perfect!

I really like how you have framed this shot, Chris, with all the leaf covered boats in the foreground. The romantic couple and the boat on the horizon both add to the scene. Well done.

Nicely framed beach shot, but, maybe I'm a bit conventional, I'd have liked to have seen the whole of the nearest blue boat.

Well, well finally a place from you where I can say: been there, seen it.. hehe..
Looks a bit off season this one with all the leaves on the boats there. Nice detail with the couple over there - even if I didn't see them before I read your notes. The digaonal making of the compo is working well here. Well seen..

Bonjour Chris de jolis détails pour cette belle composition , beau travail.

Well, I can see them. Without them, the picture can stand as you have powerful foreground objects.

A indeed this is peaceful view, the two people an the beach together with rest boats on the for ground, and the mountains in the fog, I find this nice compostion Chris, you did good job here!

Hi Chris, you're perfectly right this shot is miles away from downtown Hong kong ! seems like people do not feel like going to the beach in january, anyway it gives you plenty of time and quietness to shoot nice photos ! The leaves on the boats enhance the fact it's not high season, the beachside traces a nice diagonal and the background hill in the mist gives a bit of a mysterious atmosphere, I'm wondering what the buildings on that hill are...

Good composition Chris. Intersting foreground with the leaves visible at the top and the boats. And a splendid view to admire. I like it.

Nice beach moment from outside HK, Chris. Good compo with the boats in the foreground, the diagonal shoreline, the view towards the island and the leaves above. The hugging couple is a nice, if distant, detail. Well done.

A good capture of an emotional moment. Fallen leafs, boats and a couple in passion. Good framing and DoF. The leafs and branches at the top increase the sense of loneliness.
Well done Chris. Thanks for sharing...
