This is the third of ten of my Hong Kong series. The picture is of a cold storage building where fishes are temporarily stored prior to transport. It is already late in the day so all the fishermen and boats are gone. Just like the residences in the area, it is over the water and built on stilts but this one uses concrete stilts or columns. The white concrete beyond are newer apartment buildings. It is located in the area of my two postings of Hong Kong. In the south side of Lantau Island

hi Andre, this is Tai O village, located on Lantau Island.
your photo? not so exciting to me, since I know that place very well. i think i'd add a bit more at the top, now the upper side is 'too crowded', colors are nice... i wish also there was a boat on that water

I like your photo. Especially composition, colors, light and this very interesting place. I associate Hong Kong always with a skys scrapers, not such views. Thanks for sharing. Well done.

Hi Andre, I wonder that how those buildings still exist. The new buildings in the area should have some influnce to make some remodel of the old, dangerous looking structures.
You have made a great contrast between the old and the new buildings. The reflections in the water is beautiful. A very nice photo.

It is some time ago I visited your photos, but I see you have posted some very nice ones.
The photo is very colorful. I like the red roof and the green/blue colour of the water. Is the photo not tilt to the right? Or is it my eyes? It is nice that we can see a bit of the mountains behind the buildings.
