Photographer's Note
This is an HDR made of two exposures. For HDR I use differently exposed pictures, this time there was only one single RAW image available which I have "developed" differently. To me it still looks acceptable.

I don't usually like HDR shots: they often look much too heavily manipulated and false. But I note that this isn't a "true" HDR from different exposures, and is probably all the better for it. You've certainly achieved what HDR is supposed to manage, i.e. maximise the range of tones, but you've done it with taste and subtlety, and created a really very effective photograph. We're not told what shutter speed you used, but the tripod has delivered a nice sharp image, while your post production work is excellent. The mist really creates a very atmospheric shot. Good work.

Je ne suis pas sûr que l'utilisation du HDR soit nécessaire pour ce genre d'image nocturne. J'aime le cadrage plus serré que sur l'image précédente mais la photo me semble légèrement trop sombre?
