Photographer's Note
I think it´s not the first photo of Jardine house here on TE,but I wanted to present you today my vision of the house and its facade.
Jardine House stands 179 meters (586 feet) tall. Its design was crafted by P&T Architects and Engineers, Ltd., a Hong Kong-based company that is responsible for the creation of many landmark buildings in Hong Kong.
The most obvious unique feature of the skyscraper is its round windows. This unusual exterior has prompted
some to call it "The Porthole Building" and others to refer to it in Chinese as "The House of a Thousand Orifices". It has more than 1,700 round windows in all and engineers say these windows make the building more structurally sound than if it had the usual rectangular windows. The windows also allow for a thinner structural frame for the building.

Hi Krzysztof
what a photo my friend!!
and what a subject to use for HDR, but this is regular correct?
looking at this makes me want to book a flight right now to Las Vegas for similar shots!!!
Vancouver is rather plain in its city architecture.
love the circles and the grey steel look.
one, if not THE best photo in your gallery!!!!!!!!
cheers

Hello Krzystof,
looks truly cool. I like the perspective, it looks like a macro shot of a machine or something at the first sight. That was a really good idea. I also like the idea that you "tilted" the house. Makes it look even more interesting.

Wow what a super B&W composition Krzysztof. I find it quite fascinating that the Jardines have progressed to such a slick and modern building when I associate them with the early days of British trade with China where their go-downs housed, tea, cotton, silk and perhaps most notoriously opium. Times have changed and architecture certainly has. This shot with the thousand orifices reminds me of a human beehive where the worker bees fly in and out in a never ending cycle. Excellent! Warm regards Rosemary

Hello Krzysztof,
this is a very elegant, dynamic and suggestive image. You've approached and studied the architecture with an artistic and creative vision and made marvellous use of its features and textures. Depth and lighting have been managed so aptly for the realisation of this great idea and the monocromatic rendering serves the artistic aspect superbly. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,
Ourania

Hi Krzysztof
A nice close up image almost in mono displaying section of a modern designed building strong in repeated shapes, lines and forms, creating an impressive geometrical-abstract effect. Mono suits well emphasising the stark overall contrast. A very creative shot and good vision. TFS,
Kind regards

Hi Krzysztof
Thank you for teaching me something new today, I never had any idea that round windows were stronger than square, gald to learn that.
It certainly makes for a most interesting image, at first glance, I thought perhaps it was a close up of a giant cheese grater! Perfect choice of angle in this, it makes a wonderful abstract, and the choice of black and white is perfect.
Really brilliant presentation of this creative and unque building.
Have a great Saturday!

Beautiful work, Krzysztof. a perfect angle in this light creates such great shadows and depth here! Certainly a fascinating subject, and one that you've found an original and compelling POV on. The curved glass at upper left is also a nice element, reminiscent of a waterfall pouring onto some alien landscape. Really lovely shot. Thanks!

Hello Krzysztof.
A stunning composition very gimmicky, with this heavy load with these forms geometric curves and straights. The effect of light and shadow is also very well done.
The B&W gives much more strength to the composition.
Good both crisp, as good light.
Well done.
Enjoy good Sunday afternoon.
Best wishes.

Hi Krzysztof,
Wow, this could be so many things to the imagination...and that's what makes this so interesting. Amazingly sharp focus and light, the black & white format is perfectly suited for this type of image. I know it's cliché, but this is quite a graphic presentation, I'm loving everything about it! The shapes, patterns, light, shadows, lines; everything works so well together with this tight framing. Compliments on a wonderful photo!
Have a great day.

Hello Krzysztof,
This fragment of the facade of Jardine House is so impressive due to the forms and lines of its elements that colors are not needed. A very well chosen angle, composition and frame to show the main features of the facade in highly aesthetic way. Excellent job!
Best regards,
Sergiy
