This is my first photo from interior of Man Mo Temple located at Nos. 124-126 Hollywood Road, in Sheung Wan.It was built in 1847.
A Man Mo Temple or Man Mo Miu is a temple for the worship of the civil or literature god Man Tai (文帝) / Man Cheong （文昌） and the martial god Mo Tai (武帝) / Kwan Tai (關帝). The two gods were popularly patronized by scholars and students seeking progress in their study or ranking in the civil examinations in the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Outside light gave a bluish texture over the red/golden interior of the temple, created a wonderful mix of tones.

Witaj,
to zdjecie nie jest do ogladania w pospiechu. Mozna je docenic po dluzszym czasie wpatrywania sie w ten gaszcz detali. Niesamowite wnetrze i ladnie uchwycone. Podoba mi sie ten maly strumien swiatla wpadajacy przez dach. Swietna kompozycja i POV.

I can feel the atmopshere, the silence and even the smell of this temple where the red color is predominant. After having seen the cristal towers, seems impossible to find a place like that!

It is the omnipresent red within this scene that catches attention, together with the burning coils of joss sticks dominating most of the frame which make for a strong composition. Terrific as always, you really make the most of the wealth of fabulous photographic opportunity as depicted in wonderful indoor warm glow and the enormous depth from this low shooting upwards. This indoor temple is enough to lift the spirit, with the bright open ceiling and the smoke add a touch of a good contrast there. A meaningful shot full of content and captivating, Well done, Congrats.

Witaj Krzychu, widziałam mnóstwo chińskich świątyń, ale ta jest niepoodobna do innych. Dziwne te wiszace spirale, troche jak te na komary. Bardzo interesujące zdjecie. Świetne kolory i kompozycja.

HI Krzysztof,

What a cool capture of the atmosphere of this place. The smoky light in the room gives a beautiful mood to the image, and you have handled what looks like very difficult lighting really well.
If I walked into a place like this, I would half expect somebody to try and sell me a Mogwai :) It has the same magical feeling as that shop in the movie.
