Labour Day in Hong Kong - May 1st Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken today between the Admiralty and Wan Chai districts of Hong Kong Island.

I just happened to be there, as the police cordoned off the side roads to allow the protesters to pass.

These protesters were at the tail end of the protest. The bright red banner caught my eye, but then I noticed the little worker on his tricycle.

really this lilliputian worker is a sight for sore eyes.But as I see the tail of the protester is very 'thin' for a day like the International Worker's Day.

I,m Tory, and don't like International Workers' Day.
I lived for years in felon communism, this celebrate was our duty. It was big lies. Bat the photo is very good, splendid colours, contrast and sharpness. Good report job. Best Regards

interesting moment :) and it's curious to see no crowdsm no serious demonstrations!
Very nice, sunny bright capture, indeed, very well composed photo!
Also a special thanks to the "little worker" on the bike :) I remember that in my childhood a May Day demonstration in the former USSR was a very happy bright day!
