Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken on the return trip to Hong Kong Island from the back of the Lantau ferry.
The reason for the title is because, while I was standing on the back of a slow moving ferry, this tugboat was rocketing towards us! It never slowed or deviated from its course - and yet it just missed us by a few meters.
The tugboat captain was a true expert (I hope).
In the background is Lamma Island with its 'photogenic' power station.

Hello Andrew,
I like this refreshing shot :) The spindrift, the water (and its colour, too) look incredibly real! I can almost hear and smell it :)
It's also nice to see the blue sky over Hong Kong.
best regards,
Elena

Hi Andrew!
Combined with your title and note this is a great "action" photo! Excellent vertical framing, simple but nice composition, great timing and light managment, although the light wasn't on your side! congratulations!

Andrew,
I'm glad that you have survived so we have this great action picture. Great colors, even the boat was properly painted to help your case.
Well done!

... or drunk and lucky, wow yes, and I can see you've not got a long lens there. I guess if anyones a nutter this week, it's that captain. Merry Christmas, and see you next month?
