| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is one of the first photos I took after becoming somewhat familiar with my D80. Previous to this, I had been using a point-and-shoot camera, and this was my camera's first day out.
Cheung Chau is a small island off of Hong Kong and has a very village-like atmosphere, much different to that of the very developed Hong Kong Island. It has next to no cars, and only one fire truck which is the equivalent of a large golf cart with a hose. I tried to capture the simplicity of life on the island, compared to life of children in the city, who are bogged down by piles homework by the time they're five. |
