Can't figure what to post on my 100th image.

This shot was taken at home during my early days of digital photography - Got my 'IXUS 400' late 2003 and that's where it all began, so I thought of posting this simple image where I practice all my night snapshot - at home.

All the best to everyone who made my stay here in TE worth while :)

Cheers!

Hi Jom,
Those fine buildings really glow in the blue hour night, my personal favorite in the HK skyline is till the bank of China and its Mordor shapes protecting evil money ;-)
Very nice picture from an equally good PoV, and congratulations for reaching this first milestone !
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Jom!
Congratulations!You have chosen very well.
You're really an expert on this! Good pov, great colours and sharpness. Very good work!

Congratulations on 100 Jom!!!

I think this one is very appropriate for your 100th. You have some really great Hong Komg shots and this one is a great addition and may just top them all, especially with the bright blue sky. I do think, out of all the Hong Kong portfolios on the site, that you definitely have the one that is most worth looking at. Different views from different angles at different ends of the harbor and up the Peak. Different times of day and night with different lighting and colors...Honestly, I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing them really. Hong Kong is one of the most photogenic cities in the world and you have shown it in your shots.

As for this one, great timing catching the perfect lighting to get that color in the sky. Perfectly sharpened and detailed with good composition. The little bits of neon color, in the pinks, oranges and yellows, add some splashes of color throughout the buildings also. A great addition for sure, and definitely worthy of being your 100th.

Great work,
Hope to see another 100,
John

P.S. - haven't been on lately (about a week), too busy trying to get my big trip finalized, but I'll talk to you before I leave.

I liked the other shot- I love this one....
Excellent levels here, thje blue tone is great in contrast to the white. I like the lit windows on the tall building to the left.

Happy 100th Jom- you don't look a day over 30. Haha
- Dan
