The ferry building has been demolished.
A turmoil has been raised. People in Hong Kong has diversed in opinion. Some want to retain this buildng but some others not. However, government made a rapid action. Within a few days, the building has been pulled down and sent to dump. No more argument there arised.

Hey Mr. Yuen,
It's almost a year since this historic landmark was demolished...still feel bad despite the hopeless effort to save the structure. This area now looks like a ghost town stretching along the Edinburgh Place till the Queen's Pier. What makes me feel all nostalgic is that I learn to enjoy taking photos around this area, the short distance I walk to the Star Ferry Pier transferring me to Tsimshatsui easily back and forth. How time can change human landscape...
All the best!
Jom
