Hi again Jom,
Another mix of moving and static illumination. Colours are equally fascinating on this. The nearest lights are a bit overwhelming though. A better balance might be achieved by showing some red backlights.

Hi Jom
A bit chaotic image, but very good light and interesting scene :).

Hi Jom
Well, I guess that I am going to have to take back what I said about all Hong Kong night shots looking the same, because this one is certainly nothing like those that usually get posted on TE.
It stands apart from all the others because you have got in close, photographing just a tiny segment of this thriving metropolis; a street corner. You have also chosen to use a shutter speed that enhances the frenzied pace of city life.
Your other critics have suggested that this image is somewhat overwhelming and chaotic. But then, that's what big cities are, chaotic and overwhelming.
Never mind about all those things photographers usually have to think about, such as; points of interest, contrast, balance, framing, and view point, etc. This photograph is just being honest and by depicting city life as it really is.
Good shot, good title.

Hi dude,
this one is as good as the first one!
in perfect sharpness and details in Speed of Light version!
well done and thanks for sharing
cheers
Tony
Is that you moving in front of the camera? We're going to have to start calling you the flash Jom (no- I'm not calling you a flasher! hahaha).
Interesting city shot, and a good choice for a slightly long'sih exposure. My only suggestion for this one Jom is a slight counter-clockwise rotation as the BOA building in the center seems to be leaning to the right. I'd maybe try and go for that being the correct vertical.
All the best dude,
- Dan
Right off the bat I'll say I like your first "speed of light" better than this one...this one has it's charms though.
I like the sky more in this one, with the lighter blue, although still dark. I also like the red of the taxi that is visible...one of those unmistakable cabs of Hong Kong, even though you really can't see it - and maybe it's not a cab...but that red Ferrari that was always zipping up and down Old Peak - either way though, brings back good memories. I think there are too many sharp headlights in this one in the back but it's still original and a nice refreshing shot of the city. All in all good work. Better than I could do.
...and I actually love that WS...great angle.
Nice work
John
