Photographer’s Note
Woman in a huge straw hat in the countryside outside Yangshuo in Guangxi Province, Southern China. I have no problem with paying small amounts of money for portraits in poor countries but this woman ambushed me. She stood by the side of the road looking photogenic and when I stopped her entire family jumped out from behind a bush shouting “Photo Money, Photo Money”.
