This is a show in Yanshuo performed by local people. It's called LiuSanJie, it's the story of a girl that was a little bit ahead of her time (when man ruled (even more)). Sorry if I can't enter into details of the story, it's a chinese story that every chinese knows (but I don't).
Anyway, the show is directed by 3 famous movie directors, being one of them Zhang Yimou (Raise the Red Lantern). It's a music and lights show. It's set up in the water, under the black sky and surrounded by mountains. It's a must if one goes to Guilin/Yanshuo.
I won't explain much about the scene, but it really seems they (yes, these are people) are walking over water.
