Mountains in Nanning Photo

Photographer’s Note

Nanning, the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the south of the region on the Yongjaing River and the Xiangtan-Guilin Railway. With ceiba, palm, jackfruit, and mango trees growing all the year round and fresh fruits and flowers abundant from spring to winter, the city is known as the city of flowers and fruit. As an urban planting programme is launched almost every year, the city streets are lined with trees and its houses surrounded by flowers and greenery. It is a city of foliage and subtropical color.

Nanning is also a developing industrial city with light industry as the mainstay. It produces canned foods and handicraft articles, particularly a type of silk called Zhuang brocade, which, like the region itself, is named after the ethnic group that inhabit.

I take this shot before go into the door of the Yiling cave. These mountains are opposite of cave. I hope you like it. Thanks so much.

Yiling Cave

Lying twenty kilometers northwest of Nanning, this cave is forty-five meters deep and covers an area of 24,000 square meters. The 1,100-meter trip through the cave includes a walk through the "passage in the air," which is three hundred meters long and has three turns and three rises and falls. Standing by the railing, the visitor gets a fantastic view of the cave's colorfully lit stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, and other strange formations.

Beautiful and simple capture of this nice scenery with the mountains at background in a blue monotone simphony. I like the enquadrement and your way of view this moment and personal tone. Nice picture with a fine tone effect. I like it and this blue mood and atmosphere.

Hello Huy. This is really great. It's nice with the interplay of the low clouds and tall mountains. I'm glad you mentioned there was a cave nearby because to me, someone well-versed in geology, this place screams limestone and karst topography. Very nice work Huy, I like it!

A well composed shot of this misty spot. The interesting gate here is balanced by the foliage and trees, while in the background swirls mist and fog around the picturesque and mysterious mountains. Very good ambience. Great capture.

The blue colour tones in this picture determine total your picture, as well as beneath as depth in the mountains, but I like it and this blue mood and atmosphere.
