Photographer’s Note
I took it picure on lunar new year's eve on a time-honored but rather dilapidated street in Nanning.what's in the focus is a kind of traditional food of China named"zhong zi",which can be described as dumplings made of sticky rice, pork and mung bean and wraped within lotus leaves by reed. The decolored street was drowsy and empty. The old man behind was as listless as the street.I've used large aperture to blur the background and the old man to accentuate the texture of the dumplings and beautify the old street.

This must be the best dumpling shot I have ever seen, however it goes way beyond the dumplings, the image for me is about the tradition, history and changing times.
Shallow dof is superb, love the image.
