It is a pleasure to go aboard the Night Tour on Pearl River yacht, view and admire the beautiful shades of Pearl River, visit "The Pearl River Corridor", trace to the source of the ancient mythus and legend of Pearl River, and look back the centuries-old history and culture of Guangzhou for more than two thousands years.
This image shows the night view of the Pearl River guangzhou and the high rise buildings nearby. On this image you can see that the Ai Qun Mansion -- °®Èº´óÏà (at the middle of this image) which was very welknowned in the past. This sixteen storied old building was constructed in 1937 and 64m high. It was the highest building in south China at that time and was praised as "the epoch of high-rise in Guangzhou", but now it has becomed a " little brother " towards the many high rise buidings there at the banks of the Pearl River.
And what you are overlooking now at the right side on this image is the famous Hai Zhu bridge. It is an old iron bridge, the first bridge over the Pearl River. This bridge was constructed in 1933, and it was bombed out by Kuomingtang army on the eve of the liberation of Guangzhou during the civil war and was restored in 1951. Now it has been decorated with colourful lights and become the main component part of one of the beautiful sceneries of Guangzhou city.

Hello Mary Li!
A few remarks:
- sharpness is not OK. This kind of photography absolutely needs the use of a tripod (exposure time = 1/4 sec)
- trying to use a flash is not advantageous, seen your subject is too far away.
Just trying to help you further improving your images.
Friendly regards,
Eddie
