Photographer’s Note
it was a windy night when i took this photo. after i finished an photo assignment for a ballet concert, i met my friends at a pub, which locates at the 30th floor of a building. since i still have my tripod with me, i took a picture outside of the window. used slow speed to capture the night lights and the moving clouds. it was windy after a shower at evening. i made a mistake on this photo. i didn't get enough bottom of those buildings, and paid more attention on the sky. and this was a film and i scanned it and post to here. tell me what u think and i will appreciate it. thanks for stop by.

Strange colours, nice compo with some space for the running clouds. Effectively, you should have tilted your camera on the ground to have the bottom of the skyscrapers, but maybe in this case, it was not possible to photograph the sky.

The scan effect enhances the special graphic mood you have there. The wind and the cloud make it mysterious and the pink tones are really unusual. An original compo, and then interesting compo...

Very nice subject, full of lights and colors.
Looks like there is a bit overexposeure though, so it creates a blur that looks nice on the clouds, but reduces the detail on the buildings.
You're right in guessing more of the buildings could have been better, going for the "golden ratio" of 1/3 buildings and 1/3 sky (or vice versa) generally makes for a nice picture (it's a guideline, not an absolute).
