[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had just shown these boys a few photos I had taken of them moments earlier. When they started laughing I flipped the camera around and took this shot.

Being able to show people the shots on the display screen is one of the things I love about going digital.

This shot was taken in Zhong Cun, a small town near Panyu which is part of greater Guangzhou. The Pearl River Delta area of Guangzhzou, Macau and Hong Kong has more people than my home country of Canada!

great smiles, such a natural picture, i think a shallower DOF would help - now the background is too sharp, we can see to many distracting things there. anyway, those kids are great, nice shot

The interaction between these kids and the photographer is stunningly evident, and so natural. You want to giggle just looking at them! Very well timed, and the detail - even the loose threads on their clothes, is immaculate! Thanks for sharing Ian.

Great shot, I like the boys' expressions, well seen and shot

Great shot Ian. This makes me smile too. The boys expressions are delightful. Nice and sharp for a quickly taken shot.

Very very nice capture here. Love the expressions of the kids. If I was there, I would stay awhile and take a picture of each one of them. You have made such a good impact to them and I can see that they aren't just posing. Great shot!

Como é possível uma só foto transmitir tanta alegria. “Momento feliz”
Parabéns.

nice pic ian! Like maciek I wish the background was not quite so sharp. &a nice capture though and such a nice laugh! very rewarding isn't it? out pf points for the day...

I was behind with looking at all the picture, and I missed this one! I'm smiling behind my desk now, I love the boys. Great capture! I see what you mean about not having time for settings, you would have missed this moment.
Thanks.

What a wonderful candid shot. Their expressions are priceless! Yes, if you had wasted any time to adjust the settings, you would have missed the shot.
Hope you don't mind, but I tried a workshop to increase the apparent DOF.

Hi Ian. Yes this is almost perfect, and, as some others say (above) shallow DOF would have improved it a bit, but of course, no time. I don't think the post processed version is an improvement.

I love those faces.....such cuties!
