Photographer's Note
Hi from very hot New South Wales - Sydney has just recored its hottest day on record 45.8!!!! Where I live in the highlands the record of 40 was equalled - not very pleasant.
Most of my recent postings have been from a trip to Canada. On the way to Vancouver we stopped for a couple on nights in the also very hot city of Guangzhou on the old colonial concessionn of Shamian island. This small island, connected to the mainland by several bridges is a haven of quiet with very few cars and lots of old English/French style colonial buildings.
In one such building there was a glimpse of the interior of a clothing shop through the windows.
