Another capture of the typical market, showing at the first plane Goubuli, at the back inserted on sticks, hippocampus along with an informative note about them
About Goubuli (literally dogs don’t pay attention)
Is a famous kind of Bāozi, the Asian equivalent of sandwiches in the West. With a savory meat (chiken or pork) and vegetable filling wrapped in dough and steamed, they make a complete meal that can be eaten on the go without utensils
Recipe ingredients for Steamed Pork Buns (Baozi)
1 tablespoon (1 packet) active dry yeast
1 cup warm water, plus additional as needed
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
1 teaspoon double-acting baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
For the filling
8 ounces ground pork
1/4 cup finely chopped Chinese cabbage
1/4 cup finely chopped scallions
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon sherry or rice wine

Bonsoir Ms. "Nikkitta,"
Oooh, more interesting foods that I would be too intimidated and unwilling to try. :) I like your list of ingredients, but I can't cook very well...I'm afraid it's lost on someone like me...I burn water, for crying out loud! :)
Similar to the previous, I like how colorful this is, especially with the bright neon sign in the background as an added little burst of flare in the stalls. A nice angle taken to show us the long line of treats and the vendors awaiting their next customers.
I tend to struggle with lighting like this, but it appears you exposed it just right to have everything looking natural and well lit. Bon Appétit!
Friendly wishes from the pale side,

Typical photo from local Chinese food market (could be also in Singapore or Taiwan). You have captured from excellent side viewpoint, creating well balanced diagonal arrangement. I like that the people are following their work, not watching to your camera, very natural snapshot. The light & clarity is excellent, the colors very nice. Nicely done.

OK Maria, now I can review this - after my lunch... looks as delicious dishs, and no less a fine photo on the stand.
Beautiful light gave a golden mild tones, mingle perfectly with the red colors.
Nice taken the moment, good clear photo.

Hola dear Maria
Nice warm cold color contrasts between the blue and red, a color that is extremely popular in China. Good daily life scene at the market with excellent sharpness and tight framing. The diagonal axis of the bench, and the repetition of the waiters adds to and enhances the composition. Tfs!
Ps. Dried seahorses as a snack? I am off to KFC!

I read Hippocampus and my expression was :O
Then I read Dogs don't pay attention and I repeated that expression. But reading your detailed description, and now I feel very hungry, they sound delicious.
I'm just on lunch in work at the moment, but sadly I fear my canteen dont serve these, but I might just put it in the suggestion box. I really like the point of view you chose for this shot too, you capture the food perfectly, and gave the image great depth. Fascinating place.
All the best

Good market scene taken with a perspective angle to see the food stall and the workers waiting for customers. I find your colors soft, by darkening it the red hues burstout of the image (no more WS available today, sorry!)
Nice YOUTUBE video, I personnaly fully appreciate the way you have filmed NY!

Buen trabajo. Me gusta.

Ciao e buona serata

very attractive market photography with several food courses well visible in the foreground. I like the Chinese inscriptions everywhere, they conform the exotic location of this photo. Seller captured in nice poses but there is not many buyers here?
Everyone comes to take photos but not to eat?
Thanks for sharing,

Amazing and full of surprises another shot of the typical sight and the 'exotic barbecued seahorse' waiting for takers. A well framed image with all the elements in there, everything seems so well cared for. There are some nice contrasting colors to attract the eyes and lovely detail throughout, indeed a nice peek full of local fare - a shot depicting the food culture subtly. Well done

Hola querida Maria,
in this picture you have arranged your composition along a very dynamic and attractive perspective that carries all the information and makes it easy for us to follow and comprehend it. Superb clarity and natural colours enhnace our interest in the food and the way it is served. The people enrich the scene with their presence and actions. I'm not familiar with the tastes but it's always fascinating to learn about food preparation and habits. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

Bien cadré ce marché et ces vendeurs, l'exposition, l'angle et la netteté sont bien gérées, il n'y aurait plus qu'à déguster.

I know Wangfujing is the best place for shopping in Beijing. These street foods are so tempting. It's amazing how big the bowls are. Interestingly, you also include a recipe for making Steamed Pork Buns, nice work.
