I walked all along the stands, well organized, as I said in previous note, each of them with a sign hanging overhead indicating the food they are selling and the price, all in Chinese characters as well as the name of the stall owner
So, when I saw this stall with English characters and occidental names of deserts, it was quite a surprise, anticipated by the exclamations of a group of French tourists which were a few meters ahead of me, they were obvious quite delighted to have discover occidental food, the only one offering it in chinese and english
I like the way they are presented, in a kind of very light straw recipient, not in a cheap plastic bowl

nice the view of the stall with all these different corn cakes as the other canties. The English and Chenesse letters in combintion with the excellent light and colour management makes the imge well presented.

at first glance it would appear these are vegetarian dishes, much more appetising than those crickets...
The colours are delightful and the colours very pleasing in a well considered composition.
Kind regards Les.

Tous mes compliments,

Beautifully displayed food on the stand, with english sign to lessen fear of the tourists from local food.
Excelent sharp image, and diff. colors of the cakes. The lady seller kept herslf "busy" and not looking at the camera.
An appetizer before my lunch...

Another fine entry in this culinary series from China, this one at eye level. Excellent repetition of patterns and shapes such as the circular bowls and the contrast between Chinese and Roman script is striking. Did you spot the typo at right? assorted / assortend ? Good colour, saturation and sharpness. Have a nice week!

So often, too often in fact I come to trekearth and go away hungry and I feel it happening again I like this very nice everyday scene, and I really like how you have framed it with the roof of the stall, it makes the whole thing look so natural. Did you sample any of these delights? I’m drawn to the chestnut option.

Me gusta.

a very nice and neat display of cakes but the stall lacks the richness and liveliness of the chinese delicacies stalls in your previous picture. I like very much your tight framing and the way the vendor and the food are also framed by the roof and the signs. The colours are warm and lovely. The picture became even more interesting for me when I read the words "chestnut" and "apples cake". I wonder which ones they are:) Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Yummy stand, food glorious food full of local character and flavours where red remains as colour of life. You're spot on tight framing, positioning and the amount of details thrown in, great light and contrast to finish off pleasantly. Vibrant shot, Congrats.

Ciao e buona giornata

Excellent Chinese food stall close-up photo with very nice colors, perfect light, very good clarity. I like the very natural mood, the girl seller is just doing her job without noticing you, an excellent snapshot. The well-chosen tight crop eliminates all unwanted distractions. Well done.

It's interesting to see array of food in steam baskets. These are specialty to Beijing. I came from Shanghai, So I've never tasted these snacks. From your picture, it looks yummy.
