Photographer’s Note

Weeping willow trees surround this lake in the centre of Shenyang city which has around 7 million residents. It is the centre for manufacture of cars including BMW and also aircraft. Like many Chinese cities now, a lot of effort is being made to modernise and the pace it is happening here is astounding.

WS has a cropped zoom of the bridge.

The composition with all its curves is very beautiful but the reflection in the lake is really superb.

Oh well, BMW’s built in China! It must be the reason they are so expensive Down Under! Actually, I never heard about it before!
It is a very nice photo with good colours and a great view.

High, this is quite specific shot, it shows nothing unusual but general outlook is that - unusual. Willows are adding certain something here. Very interesting.

Hi Murray,

The reflections in the water are assets to the composition. The different tints of colors of the trees are a good addition to the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the other side of the lake or river. The presence of people as an effect of scale. Have a nice day.
