Nicely done. The gradient blue is well captured and of course the tree is a wonderfully represented in the foreground.

Very nice composition. It strikes me as a photographic version of a very traditional Chinese painting or silk embroidery - very austere, almost Zen-like (Zen roots flow from Japan, through Korea, and back to China, after all).

Quite asymmetrical, yet still very well balanced. And the radiant gradation of the blue adds warmth and life in quiet, understated way.

With such strong back-lighting it would be hard to get any foreground detail, but I would be interested to see this same shot done with a fill flash to compare.
