Photographer’s Note
Chang Bai Shan ("long white mountain") is a mountain and nature reserve in China. The mountain is actually a dormant volcano, and in its crater lies a lake named Tian Chi ("Heavens Lake"). This photo is a picture of the lake, frozen solid during the winter, along with the crater rim.

hi ori
i love the sense of scale we get here. it would have had more impact if the walking path did not extend passed the man, but it's still a really well composed shot. well done!
