[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Every day for months, when I walked out of my apartment I saw this parked bike. It was rustic incarnate, and I had thought many times of photographing it. So one day, I took my camera with me as I walked out, with the intention of photograping it. By sheer luck, on that very day, a pair of shoes was parked right next to it. They look as though someone had stood there, and evaporated out of them.

For months after the photo was taken, the bike continued not to move. It is a ghost bike. Perhaps it shall never leave this place.

However poor they still remain, my Photoshop skills are nevertheless improving a little, and I thought that I ought to repost a few photos. In this case, I increased contrast, brought out more of the tone, and sharpened the picture, for what I think is a better result. I hope it has worked.

I love the note, photos can say a thousand words but without meaning they are lost, here is a lovely story which greatly adds to the image which by the way is excellant.

Simon

I always like pictures with bikes.Somehow there is a life in each bike! And this very interesting scene, almost dramatic with fitting black and white tones and very interesting note...

Wishes,
