Photographer’s Note
This is the St Sofia Russian Orthodox church in the centre of Harbin. In the early part of the 20 century there was a large Russian population working on the railway and later White Russians from the civil war.
The many angles remind me of those optical illusions where you follow a path down and end up at the top of a connecting path.
