Photographer’s Note
This is a strange one. We were cooking a final lunch before shutting down field operations (outside it was -30C and my camera kept freezing). The tent was full of steam and smoke. Someone went ouside and left the tent door slightly adjar. A thin bleam of sunlight came through the door and showed the ripples and whorls of the mixing steam and smoke. It was captivating.
