Corridor is one the important part of Chinese architecture especially at a big family house.

Some of the Chinese corridor are built along the wall, and some of them are built extend from the main building, connecting the main building with the yard and another building at opposide or nearby.

Some of the corridor are not built as straight design but turning left, turning right repeatly, with the purpose allow visitors to look around the beautiful garden slowly.

Some of the garden not only growing with flowers, but completed with pond and Chinese stone art too. So that we are able to imagine how elegant and relaxed those rich fimily are living in this environment, and now we can visit there and experience it too.

Some of the corridor are completed with seats, and we can see a visitor sitting on the corridor at above photo.

This magnificient Chinese Corridor are found inside the Chengde Royalty Mountain Resort. The imperor of Qing Dynasty like to move out from the Fobidden City during the hot summer, some of the Imperor stay several months at Chengde Mountain Resort at the summer seoson.

Some other royalty sites located outside the main palace Forbidden City are include Chengde Mountain Resort, BeiHai Park, Summer Palace and the Old Summer Palace named YuanMing Garden, and etc (some other royalty places destroyed or convert to other uses after world war and not for tourism)
